Kenneth Smørdal was born in Bergen, on the west coast of Norway. Music production and entertainment have always been a big part of his life.
He grew up on the countryside - surrounded by majestic mountains, fjords and breathtaking nature. The dramatic nature and the four seasons have inspired his emotional, dramatic, harmonious and melodic compositions.
After high school, Kenneth moved to Oslo to study sound engineering at the Nordic Institute for Stage and Studio. Here he became acquainted with a wide range of musical styles, and this characterizes his artistic expression.
Kenneth's music is inspired by composers such as the norwegian national romantic composer Edvard Grieg, the new age composer Yanni and the film composers Hanz Zimmer, Thomas Newman, John Williams and Jóhann Gunnar Jóhannsson.
In recent years, Kenneth has focused on producing instrumental music where the goal is to produce music for film, television and online productions.
